Two days ago, we said our goodbyes to the bestest of friends. Cleapatra entered the rainbow bridge at approximately 4:20 PM on Thursday, February 9, 2012, after living a long and happy 16 years. We are heartbroken and in grief. When the vet said the dreaded words, "It's time to let her go", we gave her one last hug and a kiss and told her it was okay to wait for us on the rainbow bridge- we would not forget her when the time comes to be together again. We have no doubt she is safe, happy, and playing with her brother Trooper. Words cannot describe the gaping hole she has left not only in the pack, but in our lives as well. Clea was a part of Aubrey's life for 14 precious years, serving as a best friend, confidant, and was always a source of comfort when times were rough. Clea was Aubrey's first Siberian husky and inspired the work that she does within the breed today.
