Mac Joins The SilverStar Family

     Happy fall days to one and all!  May this find everyone enjoying the cooler temps and the pawfect opportunities it provides to get out and get active.  With the change in seasons comes another addition to the kennel.  We welcome our new 9 month old trouble maker on paws, Mac, who is built well like a Mac Truck.  With some conditioning and strength training, he will make an amazing wheel dog.  Mac is settling into our dynamic five and learning some doggie manners from his older siblings who have no bones about correcting him when he gets out of line.  Revvy has been showing him the ropes and has been the most open about his arrival.  She is thrilled to have another youngin with whom to play.

   Despite the changes within our small family pack, our training continues in hopes of racing the Trailbreaker's Dryland this year in the bikejoring class.  Shelby has gone into heat, so we have had some setbacks not having her out with us since she was best suited in size, strength, condtion, and stride to run with either Revvy or Tundra.  Unfortunately, she will be in standing heat by the time the race rolls around.  Thus we have gone to plan C and are working even harder to try and get Tundra and Revvy running more cohesively despite their differences.
